
Healthy Avocado Chocolate Mousse (low sugar)

Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocadoes
- ¼ cup cocoa powder unsweetened
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup or sugar free syrup
- 2 tablespoons almond milk
- pinch of salt
- ¼ cup chocolate chips optional
Instructions
- Mash avocado with fork, potato masher or process in a blender until smooth
- Stir in milk, syrup and blend until smooth
- Stir in cocoa powder until dissolved
- Fold in chocolate chips if desired
Notes
Using sugar free syrup would help to make more diabetes friendly and change nutrition facts to: 175 calories, 12.5gm of carbs, 0.5gm sugar. All other nutrition information would remain the same.
