Unwrapped Egg Roll

This low‑carb, gluten‑free Unwrapped Egg Roll is a quick, flavorful dinner made with cabbage, ground meat, and a simple soy‑sesame sauce. Easy, healthy, and so satisfying.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon avocado oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil divided
  • 1 pound ground pork or ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 3 cups coleslaw cabbage mix
  • 2 tablespoons Tamari Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons green onion optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat avocado oil and 1 teaspoon sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground meat and cook until brown.
  • Add ginger and garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add coleslaw mix and cook until softened (about 2-5 minutes)
  • Stir in soy sauce and remaining sesame oil.
  • Serve.

Notes

Serving size is roughly ⅔ cup if you do not have a scale.
Plate method planning tips: This meal has 1 serving of protein and 1 serving of vegetables. Add ½ cup of steamed rice for starch. If trying to keep your meals low carb, you can serve with cauliflower rice or by itself.
